The design of this project was initially inspired by a concrete rock found on the site that leads to be a concrete foundation for the building as a lifeguard tower is best positioned higher than ground level in order to have better coverage.
The height of the foundation can be determined by the tides; the water level will rise to approximately six feet, which can make the concrete foundation to be utilized as tide pool. The lifeguard tower itself is designed to be built one foot higher than the tide pool so that it will be always above the water level and only minimum amount of sea water will enter the building.
The wall is constructed by multiple sheets of wood that also serve as a structure, support for the staircase, and as well as a flag pole.
